Decisions — lead-mode build
Coiffure Bernina is a lead, not a client — nobody to ask. Per the lead-mode rule in SKILL.md,
every choice below is a recommended default, not a confirmed fact. Override points for the
operator (or the salon, if this converts) are marked ⚑.
Conversion model
⚑ Primary CTA is Call + Get Directions, not a booking widget. Reviews repeatedly praise
walk-in service and short waits without an appointment (5/5 seeded reviews mention this). A
booking-platform embed would misrepresent how this business actually operates.
Languages
⚑ DE primary + EN secondary. The old site is German-only; EN added per the suite's multilingual
default and consistent with the other Zürich salon builds in this lead wave.
Photography
⚑ Real assets used: the BERNINA wordmark, the owner photo (Nouri Ali), his signature. Everything
else ships as tasteful placeholders, not the old site's stock Pexels images — see
content/cautions.md. The hero background photo from the old site was not captured as a
discrete file; not re-extracted for this pass (not worth a second network round-trip on
placeholder-tier content for a lead build).
Pricing
⚑ No prices exist anywhere (old site, Google listing). Services page ships with category
descriptions only (Herren / Damen / Kinder) and [TBD: pricing] markers — never invented numbers.
Team
Single named owner/operator (Nouri Ali, "Ihr Inhaber und Geschäftsführer" on the old site). Spec's
"Team" page becomes a short About/meet-the-owner section rather than a stylist grid — there's no
evidence of other named stylists.
Hero treatment (no real interior photo)
⚑ The hero uses a plain dark ink-colored panel (no image) rather than a stock/generic
"barbershop interior" photo — see content/cautions.md for why the old site's tile images
can't be reused, and the styleguide's imagery-treatment note. The one real photo available
(owner Nouri Ali, image-07.jpg) is used lower on the page in the About teaser instead, where
it's honestly captioned rather than passed off as a hero shot. A real interior photo (once
available) should become the hero; swapping it is a one-file change in
site/src/pages/index.astro and its en/ counterpart.
Domain
⚑ Not registered. Old domain coiffure-bernina.ch still resolves (HTTP only, no HTTPS) — a real
handoff would need the owner to transfer or newly register it. Deployed on the *.pages.dev
subdomain only, per lead-mode default (see references/domain-email.md).
Booking / contact form
⚑ No submission form. Web3Forms (the suite's Tier 1 default) needs an access key created with
the *operator's* email — there is no operator to create one with yet. The old site's real
mailto address (coiffeur.bernina@outlook.com, decoded from its HTML) is used as a plain
mailto: link instead, alongside tap-to-call and get-directions. No third-party form processor
means no extra privacy-policy section is needed either. Revisit once the business is contacted
and can create its own Web3Forms key (see references/contact-forms.md).
